Acting for Change is a training in Burundi for a combined group of dancers and actors. Part of the dancers and actors were in a Grand Cru training in 2015/2016. The other participants were selected through an audition. All of the trainees needed to have experience in theatre for social change. This talented group of artists went through a great  development. Through training in hip hop, in contemporary dance techniques, improvisation , in theatre and physical theatre , the group developed a wide range of skills. Next to an individual and technical development the members learnt skills in group proces management. The group decided to continue under the name Irivuga Art Compagnie. The training resulted in a dance theater work ‘Les Larmes de Crocodile’, made up from their own stories and  touching many social restraints in contemporary Burundian life. The performance was well received and made it possible for the group to start touring. In 2021 40 performances have been realised.
