Son du Serpent has been selected for the Africa Film festival in Lagos,  Nigeria and will be showed between 13 and 20th of November. From 16-20 november Son du Serpent will be screened at Comunidanza Festival in Morelia, Mexico and has been selected for the official competititon.

Son du Serpent is a short movie made in the context of the program Point Taken from the Media Fund in which a choreographer and film director work together to create a dance story in motion picture.

Son du Serpent tells the story of a modern African in his frantic search for his wife who disappeared. The film unfolds as a road movie. Longing for his beloved the man wanders around in a supernatural reality – aware that he may have lost her in this invisible world.

Son du Serpent premiered in March 2015 at the festival Cinedans in the Eye Museum in Amsterdam. Since then, the film was shown all over the world from Hong Kong to Sao Paulo. The film received a special mention during the Go-shorts festival in Nijmegen and won the first priuze at Communidanza festival in Mexico 2017.
